What period should I claim for?

Since the start of part time furlough in July 2020, claim periods must span at least one whole week. Claims from November 2020 onwards must be submitted month by month by the relevant deadline and you cannot claim in one installment once the furlough leave has finished.

All claims for all pay frequencies should be made, based on the calendar month and claim periods should not overlap. For monthly clients, this will be the furlough pay shown on the payslips. For claims, for weekly payroll a pro rata calculation may be required based on the claim period running from the 1st - end of the month.
