Step 5 Reclaim my furlough grant from HMRC

To submit your claim you'll need to use your HMRC PAYE Online account. If you have not set this up already, please see Step 3 (Set-up my HMRC PAYE Online account).

Before you start to submit your claim you will need the following:

IMPORTANT CLAIM INFORMATION

You can claim before, during or after you process your payroll as long as your claim is submitted by the relevant claim deadline and you do not have to wait until the end of a claim period to make your next claim. There are now monthly deadlines for claims. Claims for periods on/after 1 November must be submitted within 14 calendar days after the month they relate to, unless this falls on a weekend in which case the deadline is the next weekday.

Please note, if your nanny is leaving your employment but is currently furloughed, then we will process the final documentation as normal. However, please note that from December 2020 HMRC no longer allow claims to be made whilst employees are serving statutory or contractual notice. This means that you will need to pay your employee a 100% of their usual pay for this period and cannot claim furlough against this.

You cannot claim for periods from 1st March 2020 to 31st March 2021.

As you are not logged in to the Furlough Portal, click the button below and we will email you your employees national insurance numbers.
